A Boat-Supported Canoe Adventure

Aussies on the Teslin & Yukon Rivers!

Back in August, a hardy group of adventurers joined us for the canoe trip of a lifetime. Our route was from Johnson’s Crossing on the Alaska Highway, down the Teslin River to the gold rush ghost town of Hootalinqua, then down the Yukon River to Carmacks.

There were 9 paddlers from eastern Australia and 9 from western Australia. Our 2 support boats followed with food and gear. This was the perfect 6-day adventure, with great food, scenery and wildlife – and not a drop of rain to dampen an amazing wilderness experience with these fine men!
