Premier Fly Fishing Trip for Lake Trout, Northern Pike & Arctic Grayling 1 – 5 Days

DSC_3147Fly Fishing is our passion – here in the Yukon we are fortunate to have crystal clear water, endless lakes, pristine unpopulated rivers and beautiful hard fighting fish that will thrill even the most seasoned caster.

This is true wilderness fishing, no other fishermen are around to distract from your experience! Yukon is one of the most pristine and scarcely populated areas in Canada. Our Grayling here are spectacular, beautiful to behold and very hard fighting! Some reaching 27” in length.

I have been fishing these incredible fish for over 40 years and I still thrill at the sight of them rising to my fly from depths of 6’ and more.

As for pike – these are big vicious, slashing thrilling monsters! These guys mean business! Bring your 8wt/9wt rod with 30 lbs. test steel leaders! These guys make a mess of a fly in record time – so bring lots!

Our Lakers are more of a challenge as they lie much deeper in summer – they are however quite shallow in spring and fall – you will still need your sinking lines – they require some work – but these monster are worth all that casting! Your 8wt/9wt will be perfect for these guys – mostly lake fishing shallow gravel bars with drop offs and some river fishing as well.

Over the last couple of years I have been getting into switch rocks – handy fishing close to a bank – but they also add that much needed distance we fly fishers crave when throwing layer flies!

Our trips are all inclusive. They include meals, transfers and accommodations at our lodge, a one bedroom deluxe suite and comfortable cabin are available. The price is $385 per person per day.
