Canoe/Kayak Shuttle Service

We deliver canoes and kayaks, passengers and gear to the Yukon River at the north end of Lake Laberge. This allows travelers to safely and quickly cross the lake.

While the lake is undeniably beautiful, many people prefer to get onto the river where wind is seldom a problem, and where the current assists their efforts.

The north end of the lake is the site of the historic (now abandoned) village of Lower Lebarge. The section of the Yukon River that begins at this point is known as the Thirty Mile – one of Canada’s most famous and most beautiful stretches of river.

Our shuttles normally depart from Lake Laberge Campground, but transfers from Whitehorse can be arranged as well.

Rates:

  • 1 canoe: $300 (Canadian) from Lake Laberge Campground to Lower Lebarge.
  • 2 canoes (4 people): $500
  • 3 canoes (6 people): $750
  • for larger numbers of canoes, please contact us for a quote, as discounts apply.
